Live Más Scholarships: Taco Bell’s Summer of Connection

ARTS is pleased to highlight our collaboration with the Taco Bell Foundation and their Live Más Scholarship initiative. In July, we invited a group of Live Más Scholars to the ARTS Center for an engaging day focused on mental health awareness and creativity.

Bridging Creativity and Mental Health Awareness

The day was filled with insightful mentorship as youths from ARTS programs were given the opportunity to guide and support the scholars. One of the highlights was the 'project runway' inspired challenge, where youth teams were tasked with creating unique fashion designs, each inspired by a different mental health awareness topic. With materials provided by ARTS, the teams worked closely with their dedicated creative mentors from our programs, whose guidance and expertise were instrumental in bringing the designs to life.

Seeing the fusion of art and mental health advocacy come to life at the ARTS Center was gratifying. We're immensely proud of the meaningful connections and creative endeavors that flourished throughout the day, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Taco Bell Scholars program.
