Ms. Reynoso has worked in the non-profit, public, and private sectors in education, science and technology, laboratory research, law, state and local government, community and economic development, banking, and business development.
Jacqueline worked for the Centre City Development Corporation (CCDC) on affordable housing and community development projects. Soon after, she was recruited to work as the Manager of Board and Investor Relations for Promerica Bank in Los Angeles. She returned home to National City to lead the City of National City’s Economic Development Division. On July 1, 2008, Jacqueline assumed her new position as CEO of the National City Chamber of Commerce. Here, she oversees the Chamber’s programs, planning, and operations. She is committed to promoting business growth and job creation, and representing membership in business friendly legislation.
Ms. Reynoso maintains active participation with the Small Business Development & International Trade Center Advisory Board, Southwestern College Local Planning Team, Mexican American Business and Professionals Association, International Hispanic Network, California Association of Local Economic Developers, International Council of Shopping Centers, United States University Board Member, South County Economic Development Council, Proposition O Steering Committee, Western Association of Chamber Executives, California Chamber of Commerce, Unites States Chamber of Commerce, National City General Plan Update Business Committee, Small Business Association (SBA) Advisory Board, and Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center Board Member.
Jacqueline Luna Reynoso was born and raised in the City of National City in San Diego, CA. She graduated with Honors as Valedictorian from Point Loma High School in 1998. She received a full tuition scholarship to study at The University of California, Berkeley as a Gates Millennium Scholar. In 2002, Ms. Reynoso graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berkeley and received a B.A. degree in Psychology and Public Policy. In 2006, Jacqueline received a Masters Degree in Public Finance and Public Policy from Harvard University at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. She is married to Alexander Colon Baez and they have two Children, Diego Alexander and Siena Luna.
