“The future belongs to young people with an education and the imagination to create.”
– Barack Obama
ARTS gives young artists the safe space they need to establish possibility, create community connections, and develop 21st century skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving.
We offer free arts education classes for young people ages 11-22 in Visual, Performing, Media Arts, and Maker. Students of all artistic skill and experience levels are welcome to enroll in the beginning, intermediate, or advanced class best suited to their development.
Classes are held at the ARTS Center in National City, a 20,000 square foot hub of creativity where students develop the skills they need to thrive.
In addition to their artistic training, all ARTS youth have access to on-site resources that support their personal development. Our Student Services department provides every ARTS student with a personalized plan to ensure they reach their individual goals. Services at ARTS include mental health and wellness counseling, college and career advising, and leadership coaching.
